You know those big shows with tons of vendors. I've never been to one but am gonna go to my first one soon (as business and not as a mom!)
Have you been to one? What did you think of it?

I went to one. It was nice to have so many baby vendors in one place. They also had a stage set-up with seating and had a different give-away for those seated every hour or so. The first giveaway was for something like 6 Medela breast pumps. I was so sad that I didn't get called for one of those!

I went to last year's one here in Toronto. It's called "The Baby Time Show"...In fact, it's on again this weekend. I'm not going, though.
I loved it last year! I got SEVEN full-sized tins of formula just by standing in line over and over again. It's super crowded and chaotic but I was with a friend and it was really fun. She bought her Uppababy Vista there - got some sort of discount. I got my Sophie giraffe there, too. On sale, no tax. LOL.
I fully enjoyed myself...It was just very crowded!

Yup, Big City Moms Biggest Baby Shower x2!! I went with both pregnancies. It's gotten a lot bigger and posh since it first started... I actually didn't want to go to it again because I knew I wouldn't get much out of it (being that I was pg with #2), but my girlfriend really wanted to check it out and it was like our time to catch up and hang out so I bit the bullet and bought the almost $100 ticket for it. The goodie bag was pretty decent but we were a little disappointed because at the shower prior, everyone got a free Aprica stroller.. Our biggest freebie was a diaper pail (I didn't need).
I also checked out an event put on by New York Family last year. Free admission was nice, but of course, that means you just walk away with a bunch of coupons and a few samples. It was pretty cool though. DD joined in on a free music class demo and I got to see Dr. Harvey Karp in person. Oh and I also won a Glamourmom nursing top and I never win raffles and it was worth like $50! I was so happy
