I was a Girl Guide and went on multiple camps with them. Most were 1-2 weeks. I had a lot of fun, but I also missed my family by the end!

I spent like 2 weeks at a bible camp for like 6 summers in a row.

I went to bible camp every summer from age 7-17. I looked forward to camp all year long, I'm sure it helped that it was the only time I got to ride horses.

I went to a Christian camp! So much fun! I just moved about 2 miles from it without even realizing lol

Yup during my junior and senior year of HS. It was some educational camp.

I went to week-long camps with my church every summer, but never the summer-long ones that you see on tv. I always thought it looked like fun (ya know, Salute Your Shorts, Camp Rock, Friday the 13th...haha)

I went to a week long bible camp in NH every summer from 7th grade until just after graduation. I looked forward to it all year!

Yes! It was a YMCA camp, and I went for 5 years. First year was for 2 weeks, rest were 4 weeks. Loved it so much that I applied to be a counselor-in-training. They rejected me, though. I went on to be a counselor at a daycamp for many summers after.

Yes, I was in high school. I went to a camp called YOUNG LIFE, it's part of a Christian organization. I didn't know much about Christianity, so one night they tell us about the mark of the beast and then send us out around camp to pray. We all scatter finding corners or trees to pray. I was so freaked out because I thought the Rapture was going to happen then and there. Other than that camp was a BLAST!

I went to a bible camp for 2 summers. It was only a week but it was SO much fun. I would have stayed the whole summer if they had let me.

We did horseback riding and archery as well as all the other bible camp type stuff. Listening to the Newsboys brings me right back there in an instant, lol.

Funny thing is I'm actually not religious anymore... like at all.

The first time I went I was 8 years old and I was so homesick my parents had to come get me. It makes for a funny story now, but was seriously traumatic at the time!

I went to horse camp every year at "Shady Lawn Farms". It was so fun, except the one year where I missed a week because I was sick in the infirmary.

I'm not so sure I'll be able to let my girls go!

I went to a Christian camp once year and then a non-religious sleep away camp for the following two years. It was so much FUN!

Yep, 4H for a few years. My mom always sent care packages!!

Yes, I loved camp as a kid!

That photo is awesome! I have to go dig up some of my old photo albums now... I bet they'll feature a lot of bangs and rolled jeans.
