We hardly ever ate cereal growing up. If we did, it was the boring stuff like kelloggs corn flakes.
My sister and I (5 and 8) would usually make Neoguri Ramyun with egg for breakfast before going to school.
Yum!

I remember always eating cereal by myself on the weekends. My mom slept in until noon and I would feed/entertain myself. No idea where my dad went!

Yes, usually weekdays we had cereal or toast for breakfast since we were always in a hurry to catch the bus. Weekends we had bigger breakfasts with eggs, pancakes, ect.

I ate cereal every day before school - my mom had 4 kids and didn't have time to feed us hot breakfast and I was always running late for the bus!

My dad always fixed us a hot breakfast during the week growing up, and made awesome breakfast like pancakes or waffles and bacon every day. I remember having that breakfast while we watched DuckTales, then running off to catch the school bus!
When we had cereal, it was Corn Flakes or Rice Krispies; we were rarely allowed to have sugary cereals.

@chopsuey119: haha. it is also kinda sad because my mom never made me these nice breakfasts other people are talking about. jealous!

I ate cereal every day for breakfast (and pretty much still do). We had the standard Cheerios and Rice Krispies (but I'd put sugar and bananas on them to make them taste good). Plus the "bad" cereals like cinnamon toast crunch, Cap'n Crunch, Frosted Flakes (I also added sugar to this one - nasty, huh?), Lucky Charms, etc.
Basically, when we went to the grocery store, my brother and I got to pick out a box of cereal. And we obviously weren't restricted to the healthy ones!

@chopsuey119: I totally thought eating ramen/gook/soup for breakfast was the norm when I was growing up! I ate cereal too, but more as a snack! To this day, a cold breakfast doesn't feel like a meal to me!

Everyday almost! it was my go-to breakfast. and also the only thing we would really prepare ourselves. Seeing we weren't allowed to use appliances.

Oh yes. My mom wouldn't let us have the "fun" sugary cereal, though. We ate a LOT of Cheerios.

We ate all sorts of things for breakfast - cereal, waffles, corned beef hash, rice porridge, etc. Didn't really have a set breakfast item. lol.

Well, we were homeschooled (all five of us) so we got to sleep in and make big breakfasts. We did eat cereal a lot out of convenience, but we were never allowed to have sugar cereal. Most of the time we had toast with scrambled eggs or pancakes.
I used to love Cream of Wheat and Red River. SO GOOD!

During the week we generally had oatmeal or cream of wheat for breakfast. We only had cereal sometimes. Saturdays we'd do cereal or pancakes. Sundays was always eggs and rice + something (Filipino silog).

no cereal for us. If we weren't too lazy and late in getting up then we would have instant "kung fu" noodles for breakfast.
