My son was a late walker. He didn't walk til 15 months. He's a vey cautious boy. I thought my daughter would be an early walker because she's more active but she just took her first steps last week at almost 14 months. She's more into climbing things.

@Boogs: my son still is. It took him a long time to get the courage to come down the slide at the playground. He's 3 now and still has not touched his skut bike.

@Oceanis723: Wow, 8 months?! Amazing!!

@mrbee: yep it drove me crazy. Everyone told me twins do things a little later but there they were at 8 months walking around.

@Mrs. Superhero: My LO just turned one a couple of weeks ago and still isn't walking. I'm not really worried about it. He's a super fast cruiser but doesn't want to walk. I am SO tired of everyone asking about it! It's like they're worried and it makes me worry sometimes!

Cautious daughter walked at 13 months.

LO was an early walker, I think, at 10 months. By her first birthday she was really good.

LO walked at 13.5 months ... first steps around 12. I'd also say he's fairly cautious.

my second started at 12.5 months. I actually wanted her to walk sooner because I was so tired of her always all over the floor and putting things in her mouth. Outdoor playgrounds aren't as fun with crawlers vs walkers too.

lo took her first steps at 11 months... now at almost 12 months, she does half walking half crawling.
