Yes. I had a group of friends that were very close. There was probably 20 of us actually. We are all in touch via Facebook and usually once per year get together somewhere for a picnic or whatnot. However, 3 of us, are still VERY close. They are certainly my best friends and nothing will ever change it. We have all moved in and out of state, went to different colleges, have had families, and still manage to see each other quite often, even though one of the trio lives in Georgia. The friend in GA we still saw 18 times last year. It's pretty awesome to have had friends for 17 years and still be so close.

Yes, I was a drama/choir kid so I had a big group! It was really fun. I'm Facebook friends with a lot of those people, but only close to my best friend, who I met in 9th grade and was also part of the group.

There were four of us girls that were really close, we were friends since preschool and one since kindergarten.

We are all still good friends. Two of them still live in town and the other I keep in touch with over Facebook pretty often.

I had 3 close girlfriends in high school. Of those, I am only in contact with one of them, but we are super close and she is one of my best friends! Of the other two, one decided that she hated who she was in high school and therefore anyone she was friends with in high school. I was living abroad at the time so we didn't talk much anyways, so I didn't feel any great loss. The other developed a severe eating disorder our senior year and walked off the deep end sometime during her first year of college & never spoke to us again. I think now she lives with her mother, can't hold down a job, still has major food issues, and has yet to finish her college degree.

Yep. We grew up together... from infancy on. They're my closest friends.

Yes, I am the only one on the East Coast, though. I see them whenever I can. I make sure to see my BFF every year.

Not really, there is only one who I try to hang out with when we are back home. I am facebook friends with most of them, but I have to admit, some of them I have on restricted view.

No not really...I was a "floater" as we called it, where I got along and could hang out with everyone from geeks to the most popular people. I was somewhere in between. I still hang out with my BFF who I went to school with and connect here and there with people from highschool on facebook but mostly I hang out with DH's friends I met through him.
