I didn't state a specific end time to LO's party on her invite because I wasn't really sure how long it would take to do things and didn't want to put a strict time frame on it. I am hoping though that it casually ends a few hours after it starts.
Did you have an end time for your LO's party or did you just go with the flow?

I wrote an end time on the invite, but any kind of party between us and our friends end whenever they want to end so the end time is never accurate.

We just went with the flow. Most people didn't stick around too long after presents were opened and candles were blown out. Especially since my kid still takes a nap, so once the guest of honor is sleeping, people start leaving.

I usually do but I won't have one for LO 2's party since it is just family and a few close friends.

No, it was just family and all the adults stayed so I didn't think it was necessary.

No end time. We always throw parties at home
and let our guests leave when it's convenient for them. If I had the party elsewhere I would indicate an end time.

Nope. Birthday parties at our house last as long as everyone is having fun.

We always throw it at a rented venue so we have to put an end time. If it's a small gathering at a house party we usually don't put an end time.

We have to put an end time if we invite my extended family, because they can't take a hint - my parents host Christmas and my aunts and cousins have stayed past 11PM before! My dad will mention several times how he has to wake up for work at 5am, and eventually he just gives up and goes to bed while the clueless people are still hanging around downstairs. So I guess it depends on if your guests have common sense? Lol!

Our first, no, it was just at our house.
Our second is at a park, so it says 2-4pm.

So far we haven't but we've only invited family and our adult friend with their kids. Our friends have to travel some distance so I even put on the invite "we'll start at 10am and we'll be home all day. Come by whenever works for you.". Since everyone except the grandparents have kids all the guests were gone by 2.
If/when we start inviting LOs friends I will put an end time.
