I will have 96 vacation hours and 2 sick days!

I asked my company not to use my paid vacation while I was on maternity leave. I wanted to have the hours to use later on for holiday travel and daycare illnesses. Accounting screwed up and paid me anyway. We came to the arrangement that I'll still be allowed to use my vacation time, unpaid.

No, i was required to use all of my sick time and vacation time during my FMLA leave.

Nope:( I came back the first week of June so 6 months of no sick or personal time. I will take some time off at Christmas, off her record.

I still accrued it on maternity leave. I saved up a whole bunch while pregnant. I barely took a "pregnant" day while pregnant. During my maternity leave, I used the saved bank and still accumulated time for when I got back. I was relieved to have my final month of maternity leave paid for because of no vacations.

I'm working on saving up hours now for a future pregnancy. Sadly, it means that I probably won't have a personal vacation for another two years, so 4 years without a real vacation depending upon when I get pregnant next.

The first 6 days of my leave were not covered by short term disability, so those I had to use PTO for. I had a couple of extra days left after that, but I was able to choose whether or not I wanted to use them for the leave I took after ST disability expired.
That's sucky that you have to use all of your time for mat leave. Why does it matter if they pay you during leave or later on when you come back? (Assuming you can take unpaid mat leave)

No our pto has to be used as mat leave, whatever is accrued.
