What the title says... If you went through IUI, did you ever have symptoms of either your BFP or AF's arrival? If so, what and when? And were you taking progesterone?
Debating adding another poll for success odds but not sure...

My IUI's did not result in any BFPs but I had my usual AF symptoms (mild cramping 3-4 days before AF). I did take progseterone once and it delayed AF, but I can't remember if I had any AF symptoms that cycle.

@PurplePumps: These last days are the worst for me! I wish I could view stats for how many threads I start in the final TWW days, LOL!

With my chemical/first IUI, I had lots of BFP symptoms! I finished off 2 jars of pickles in the TWW, was bloated the whole time & boobs were hurting. The kicker was waking up 14dpiui having dreamt of giving birth.

@lindsaysinny, I will weigh in, even though IUI didn't end up being effective for me personally. I only did IUI once, and to be honest, my two week wait symptoms always varied, with every single cycle. Sometimes, I felt nothing. Other times, I'd have nausea and headaches. Sometimes, I SWORE I was pregnant. I was never right, unfortunately.
I recently completed my first IVF cycle, and my post-transfer "symptoms" were pretty much non-existent. I didn't feel anything out of the ordinary. In fact, I was convinced I wasn't pregnant. I had no intuition whatsoever.
Well, would ya know. They are telling me I am. I am almost 7 weeks and still feel pretty much NOTHING. It is impossible not to read into symptoms (Trust me, been there, done that), but just make sure you recognize the following: (i) some ladies have symptoms and swear they are pregnant and they're right, (ii) some ladies have symptoms and swear they are pregnant and theyre wrong, (iii) some ladies have zero symptoms and swear they are not pregnant and theyre wrong, and (iv) some ladies have zero symptoms and swear they are not pregnant and theyre right. I say that just to say: every pregnancy is different. Even ladies that have been pregnant before say that. So while NOT analyzing things is pretty much impossible, please don't put too much weight into anything because you just never know! Best wishes to you!!!

I swear I've had them all. Sore boobs, bloating, cramps, fatigue. But then I get the BFN and AF comes. My body just loves to tease me (or hate me.) It sucks because I can't even be excited about those 'known' pregnancy symptoms because nothing applies to me. Sorry, I'm no help.

@mopeybuthopey: You're so right... I know all of that and yet I still feel like some validation one way or the other will "help" me. All that will help is waiting it out!

I got a BFP after our second IUI (with injectables) and was on progesterone. I had a little implantation bleeding a few days before testing and super super sore bbs too! Tho not sure if it was the progesterone or what that caused the symptoms bc I had the same in the tww after the first IUI, just with no bleeding. good luck!!!

@LindsayInNY: I was not on progesterone but my progesterone was 27.2 on CD21 which is the highest I ever tested with. I also had super sensitive smell towards the end of the TWW. I so hope this is it for you!

@theotherstark: @septca: Haha I love you guys! But I blame it on the progesterone The last 3 temps have been weird. My BBT is dying (sign you've been TTC for too long...) and I had an early am flight on Wednesday to the west coast so that's been messing my temps up I think. @LindsayInNY: Are you going to test Saturday? Or maybe tomorrow (pretty please???)? When is your beta? Nosy/POAS-pushing minds want to know!
bananas / 9229 posts
@septca: Beta is scheduled for Monday morning. I'm out of town for work until late Friday so I was gonna test sometime this weekend. As much as I hate POAS, I don't want to get good or bad news alone at work.

@LindsayInNY: that's a beautiful chart! Everything is crossed for you!

@LindsayInNY: Good thinking.
(But I luuurrrrvvvvve POAS, so I will come over and hold your hand, 'kay?)

@septca: @LindsayInNY: I'm a total POAS enabler as well, so I am happy you're testing this weekend Keeping my fingers crossed for you!!

@Silva: Aww, thanks. Not sure how much of the chart is attributed to the progesterone though?

@LindsayInNY: I have literally everything crossed for you. Lots of thoughts your way

@LindsayInNY: girl, you know my fingers are crossed for you! Whatever the symptoms are: I just hope they end up in a BFP come Monday (or before! Wink, wink).

@septca: I didn't POAS this morning DH doesn't want me possibly ruining our weekend. But I also explained I don't want to be getting any news, good or bad, alone at work either. We have a concert tonight so I guess the no drinking continues. We'll see about tomorrow...
coconut / 8475 posts
@LindsayInNY: if I were you (if, just saying...) I'd test in the AM on my way to the b/w appointment while still with DH at home.
Of it's negative, you won't be surprised when the office calls you. You can be a total butch at work and blame it on Monday, and grab yourself a bigass cupcake and latte from SB. If it's positive, you can share the moment of happiness with DH? Also, it gives you more more day to ensure nothing is "too early".

@CupQuakeWalk: That's not a bad idea... I think I will tomorrow morning since we have a groupon to a local brewery so I any to know whether I'm wasting my time not drinking. I blame progesterone for all the mind Fing!
