Our flower girl was 2.5 and the ringbearer was 20 months old. The kids had stage fright before the ceremony so they walked down their aisle with their mom (bridesmaid) and dad (groomsman). I'm really happy that their parents were in our wedding party...it made everything so much easier!
My BIL and soon to be SIL "asked" our LOs to be flower girls in their wedding next year! I'm pretty excited but kinda nervous about tears and stage fright!

Yep, 1 of each! RB was 3 FG was 1.5.... RB took the lead and held her hand all the way down

Nope. I wouldn't have opposed it and our ceremony was very informal, but no small kids in our family at the time.

We had a flower girl but no ring bearer. She was 4 at the time i think and extremely well behaved. Her mom was so nervous tho!

Yep! My god-daughter was the flower girl and was 3.5. She was great, walked down like she was supposed too. Ring bearer was 3.5 as well (DH's nephew) and he cried and ran down the aisle. Wouldn't stand up at the front either.

No flower girl but 2 ring bearers. My two best friends had 2 little boys at the time - one made it down and he did awesome. I love the photos of him at the wedding - he was just so precious

Just had a flower girl! She was not even 2 and did awesome! She fell at one point and actually got up and kept going!

We had three flower girls, 7,5,&3. Our ring bearer was 3.5.
They were all amazing. Four years later and people still talk about how cute they were.

Our god-son was our ring bearer and he took the job SERIOUSLY!!! Really seriously!! Haha, he was adorable.
We had planned on having 2 flower girls, but at our rehearsal dinner our friends 2 girls were getting along so well with our flower girls that we invited them to join as flower girls too! So we ended up with 4 girls throwing petals.

Yup!!! All 5 of our nieces and nephews ranging from ages 1-6! Wouldn't have it any other way.
@autumnlove: the two youngest ones ended up being carried down the aisle by grandparents. The youngest wasn't walking yet and the older of the two had stage fright. It was no big deal just let them know it might happen. By the time we did introductions the older one was willing to walk out with the other flower girl and ring bearers. It was pretty much the cutest ever.

We had 2 flower girls. They were 7 at the time and super cute. They were cousins so they walked down together with the more outgoing one leading the way. It worked out great!

my niece and little sister were my flower girls. My niece was 6 and my little sister was 3. my niece held my little sister's hand and my step mom was at the end of the aisle to meet her.

We didn't, but only because we had zero little kids in our families/lives at the time. If we got married now we'd have my husband's niece (she's 2.5) be the FG.

No and my aunt was pissed because my cousin's kids were the perfect ages and a boy and a girl. I just didn't feel like dealing with her being (even more) involved in my wedding.

Yes, mr bird's cousins were the RB & FG. They were ~2 & 5 at the time. I used lollipops to get the RB down the aisle

Yes - my nieces were the flower girls (4 and 1 1./2) and DH's cousin's little boy was our ring bearer, 3. They did great.

Yup! DH's nephew was our ring bearer, and his cousin's baby girl was our flower girl. DH's nephew did an awesome job!! We didn't think it'd work out because he was young and can be all over the place or even refuse to walk, but he did an excellent job! Even stood by the groomsmen the entire job behaving himself. So, so proud of him.
Our flowergirl is really outgoing so I expected the opposite from our ring bearer. She got shy last minute and her aunt walked her down the aisle. She did stop at the end of the walkway to put down some petals before being carried off.

Yes, my (then) 5 year old SIL was flower girl and my (then) 3 year old BIL was ring bearer.

We only had ring bearers. My (then) 3 year old lil brother walked with my (then) 10 year old nephew. My nephew had to take over because my lil brother didn't want to carry the pillows anymore, but he kept walking like he was supposed to.
(Nephew had the actual rings & brother had an empty pillow so it all worked out)

6 year old ring bearer & 3 year old flower girl. They walked down the aisle together, then the flower girl sat with her grandma in the first pew.

No. We had a very formal wedding so we kept it child-free. I'm very happy with the decision.
