Everyone told me I would have DD sooner than DS since she was a second child! Today I'm 40+4 (which is the day I went into labor naturally with C) and I'm definitely not in labor so that won't hold true for me. I'm actually quite surprised!
Did you have your second at a later gestation than your first? I'm just trying to find some company and commiseration in this!

I don't know for me yet, but my BFF had her first at 38w5d and her second at 41w6 days. I pray that's not the case for you.

I hope this won't happen when the time comes as Madeline didn't make her appearance until 41+5!!

I haven't had my second yet, but my mom had her first a week early and her second a day late, so there's really no rhyme or reason to it!

My daycare lady had her first two exactly at 40w, but #3 was 40+6
I'm hoping my 2nd comes later! L was 1 week early, and I'm kinda hoping for 1 week late for this one

I had my first at 39 and the second at 41+5 or something like that. it was a long wait!!

I had DS at 37+5 and even though I'm not pg with #2 yet I am already mentally preparing myself to go later with #2!

No, but I don't really count as I was a scheduled c-section with #2 at 39+1(number 1 was 40+6). However, my mom had me 4 weeks early(I was the first) and each of her subsequent pregnancies went longer(I think she said #2 was around his due date, and #3 was well past her due date). I hope she comes soon for you!

My water broke on my due date with my first at 6am but I had to be induced with my second on my due date!
