Yup! Mavrick was 11 months old and Sienna will be 3 months and a half.

We don't plan to - we're not religious, though my BFF says she's going to do it for us as an "insurance policy."

Nope and we don't plan on it because we're not religious. I'm actually surprised my MIL hasn't asked us about it yet.

We're not religious but both of our families are so we may do it for them. If we do it we won't baptize her in our families' religions (Pentecostal and Baptist) but in the Unitarian Universalist church near us because they welcome all religions, as well as agnostics and atheists. I figure it's a good compromise.

I was baptized at 2 months, almost exactly. We aren't baptizing LO only because it'll cause serious, massive, terrible no-good family drama with the ILs....which I personally wouldn't mind

Nope, we're Jews! We had a baby naming when she was about 10 months though.

@mrsjazz: I like your compromise! We don't have a LO yet, but my ILs expect a baptism, but I'm an atheist so that won't happen. So we decided we'll do our Nigerian naming ceremony inside DH's UU church so the ILs feel like the baby had a ceremony in a church without me compromising my beliefs:)

We are getting our LO baptized in December, he will be 6 months. The reason we are waiting, is we are having him baptized in Savannah, GA by the same pastor who married DH and I, and that's the earliest we can get there. (DH and I live in Washington, DC, my parents live in Savannah, GA)

We didn't. Want our Lo's to make the decision to be baptized on their own when they're ready.
We're for baby dedications, but haven't had Lo dedicated yet.

We did. LO was 3 months almost exactly and shared her baptism with her cousin who is 2 weeks older. The priest who married DH and i performed the ceremony so it was nice and personal!

We didn't baptize but did a dedication because our church (Christian) believes baptism is a personal decision for the individual to make not someone else. The dedication basically was us presenting DD in front of the congregation and promising to raise her in a Christian home. She was 11months when we did it (they only do it once a year and she came the Thursday after they did it the year she was born). We plan to do the same for LO#2, although they will be younger since it is done in the spring and LO#2 will be a fall baby.

Our LO was baptized when she was 12 months old. We waited till we traveled overseas to visit my husband's side of the family so there was a reason for a family get together.

We're not going to. My parents never baptized any of us so that we could grow up to make our own decisions about religion when we were old enough to understand and we plan to do the same.

We plan to have our LO baptized. In the Catholic Church they want you to have it done as early as possible. We'll probably do it at around 2 or 3 weeks old. We have to take a class beforehand so I plan on doing that in my 7th or 8th month so I can plan the baptism in advance.

We did, at his first easter sunday celebration. That's when our church does a bunch. Lots of families choose dedications instead to let the child choose baptism in the future on their own, but we were both baptized as infants and didn't have a problem with it as adults. We figure if our children want to affirm their faith when they are older, they can be baptized again. We did it mostly for traditions sake.
