If you did, did your kids like it?
Two of my friends on Facebook posted pictures of their kid screaming and crying when they had pictures with Santa. They were both about a year or two old, though.

I don't have a LO yet, but this is something I am really looking forward too. I especially love the pictures when the kids are crying on Santa's lap.

We have seen santa 3 times now (we also saw Buzz, Mickey, Jessie and Woody at Disney when he was 6 months old). He wasn't too sure about it but hasn't completely balled his eyes out. Maybe next year.

One of my friends has the cutest pic of her LO dressed up as Santa, sitting on big Santa's lap.
No Santa pics for us though since LO won't be believing in him.

Yes, and this year he freaked out and cried (he's 16 months). Last year he was so little he didn't mind. He also didn't mind the Easter bunny pix at about 9 months so I'm not sure when the switch happened but this year he was very very angry. The pictures are funny anyway though!

I love watching the kids at the mall scream when they see Santa....it makes the cutest pics. Can't wait to take our LO next year!

I didn't even think about bringing my LO to see Santa, but my husband really wanted to start the tradition right away (LO is 8 months old). We went on a Monday afternoon, and it was the perfect timing -- very short wait and never felt rushed. My LO didn't cry, but he was very curious and kept staring at Santa. Here's one of the many photos of him looking up...

We don't celebrate Christmas. But if we did, my lo would not be a fan of Santa. She screams at anyone who isn't her mom or dad.... and Santa would freak her out even more.

@yin: that is the most adorable Santa picture (and most adorable Santa) ever!!!
We have not yet taken RJ to see Santa... he will grow up hearing about him and believing in him, I hope, but I don't want to take him until he understands the concept of asking Santa for presents in return for being good. (I'm soooo about the bribery...) I'm afraid it'll traumatize him if we take him too early... haha.
I like the idea of getting a yearly picture with Santa, but I'm too afraid my kids will be too smart and compare the pictures and realize they're not all the same. Haha.

We did for the first time this year (she is three), and she had so much fun. She has been talking of almost nothing else since then lol.
