As if that movie wasnt scary enough! I watched a documentary that discusses all the various theories in the movie. It is called Room 237. Available on Netflix!
Some of the theories:
Stanley Kubrick was forced to shoot footage for the Apollo moon landing meaning it was faked
The movie is a commentary on the slaughter of the Ameeican Indians
The movie is actually a movie about the Holocaust
My mind is blown lol.

Never heard about them. DH loves all Stephen King movies, like the Shining. I just asked him if he saw that documentary and he said it on his list of things to watch.

The Shining is one of my favorite movies, so I've watched it a bunch of times, and can't say any of those theories make any sense to me....but I am intrigued to investigate further, if only for a fun expedition, and another reason to watch The Shining again! Thanks for posting this!
