i can't remember square dancing, but we learned a whole bunch of line dances in gym in middle school. welcome to the south!

@MamaMoose: i'm from MA and we didn't do it either. but i went to private elementary school, so maybe it doesn't count because their curriculum is independent. would have been kind of cool thought=) -

we learned for sure! it was one of our first "dances" when we went to outdoor school in 6th grade. the rule was that you had to say yes if someone asked you to dance. super awkward!

Oh I loved square dancing and begged my mom to get one of those dresses. She didn't though.
