I wasn't a huge fan so I never wanted my own Barbie dolls but I played with them at my friend's houses!

Love her! Me and my sister would play barbies everyday. We still have all of them in like 5 huge bins in my parents basement. My dad even built us a custom barbie dreamhouse with furniture, carpet, tile and a working elevator. It is amazing!

My parents didn't buy them for me, but I always played with them at my friends' houses. I liked dressing them up and playing with the accessories.

i looooooved barbie!! my grandmother had some of my mom's barbies from when she was little & the clothes she made for them and i thought they were so cool! i know her body sends horrible msgs to little girls, but i spent so many happy hours playing barbies as a kid, i can't imagine it was more damaging than watching disney movies.

Nope, never really played with them. Our kids won't have barbies, or disney movies, for that matter.

Yep, my sister and I had a huge suitcase full of Barbies and Barbie clothes. I think our favorite activity ever was cutting Barbies' hair into "new styles", lol.

That's so weird that you should ask this question today because my best friend and I LOVED playing with our Barbies when we were little and, last night, I got really emotional when I realised that, if she has a girl (she's 8 months pregnant) we can play with Barbies together. Lol.

@JessicaMcB: I did that to my friend's Barbie and got in trouble! Haha!

I loved barbies! I spent so much time playing with them and always played with them at my cousins house when we went over there. It was hard to "be too old" to play with them when I got older.

You bet cha! I must have had 50! I also had a hot pink Barbie corvette convertible electric car that I would drive my sister around in

I liked Barbie, but they were kind of "expensive" so I only had a few dolls but lots and lots of clothes. I also had the Barbie Corvette (her size, not mine) that I loved.
I used to make my Barbie and Ken dolls "make babies." Ew. How embarrassing.

I had a few dolls but wasn't in love with her; I liked playing with the hair on my My Little Ponies more

Never was a huge fan. I had one barbie when I was younger.

@JessicaMcB: Same. We liked to give them Sharpie makeup "makeovers" and cut their toe/fingernails...

My sister had them and she hated that I used to perform surgery on them! I guess I never cared for them (or any dolls) myself.

Yep! I have 3 older sisters so we had a decent collection. My friends and I spent hours and hours playing with them. I've always been a girly girl.
@Rainbow Sprinkles: LOL! I'm pretty sure I made my barbies make babies too. It makes me wonder what exactly I was exposed to?!
