@twodoghouse: ugh, yes! I remember vividly when just walking the short distance to the printer felt like a friggin marathon. I was also very grateful to be pregnant but soo happy when it was over.

I am 36 weeks in and still really enjoying the experience. I love feeling him move. I could do without the super swollen feet though!

Nope. I was either sick or physically uncomfortable the whole time. Plus that back of the mind worry about everything you do/eat.

Didn't like it overall. I love having my babies out in the world with me!

1st pregnancy - No, I felt horrible and looked horrible. Everything hurt and I was uncomfortable very early on. Swelling was bad and I was huge.

2nd pregnancy- yes, I can say I love the feeling. It has been so much easier physically and I feel almost normal. Sure, at 31 weeks sleep is getting harder and I'm getting more uncomfortable but it is NOTHING compared to the 1st time. I do have GD this time and I hate that.

I loooved being pregnant. I worry though that when we get round to having another one it will be much harder because I have DD to chase around too and can't just lie on the couch eating bon bons.

Not really. First trimester sucked. I wasn't even that physically sick, but sick ENOUGH that I felt off all the time and it was really hard on me emotionally. Second trimester was okay. Towards the end of second/beginning of third I started to get uncomfortable and then I really disliked it because I was just over it, and also was really really worried about how much worse it might get.

At this point (almost 35 weeks) I am actually feeling better about it because I have not gotten increasingly uncomfortable (just stayed mildly so, knock on wood) so I'm starting to have less concern about TRULY hating it at the end, and I'm really enjoying feeling LO move around so much every day. I feel like I'm really starting to bond with her and that helps a lot.

Yes! I had HORRIBLE anxiety about losing him and I had GD, but I still loved being pregnant!! I'm only 4 months pp, but I miss my bump so much

    Love love love it!
I don't much care for the anxiety that comes with it, but everything else I love.

I would be a surrogate in a heart beat once I'm done having my own babies!

I LOVED it, and can't wait to do it again. I had it easy though, no sickness, mostly controllable heartburn, minimal back pain.
Especially after losing Q, we want a million more babies.

I hated being pregnant. I gained so much weight even though I was exercising and eating super healthy, had horrible heartburn, couldn't sleep, and just didn't feel like myself. Plus I was super sick the first trimester.

While I was happy that I was pregnant (finally), I hated most of actually being pregnant. It was certainly nice to feel the little guy move around, but I didn't sleep well from the very beginning, and just had a lot of issues with my pregnancy. So I wasn't a fan.

I currently hate it which is rather awkward as we start to tell people since everyone is so excited and I am just not. I am really really hoping I get one of those golden second trimesters though because we might be one and done if things get any worse.

No. I love feeling the baby kick, but beyond that it's pretty miserable. Currently pregnant with #2 and still sick everyday at 21 weeks. I wish I liked it more!

  18. coopsmama

I don't LOVE it but don't hate it either. The first trimester is always so hard with the nausea and vomiting and the rest of the time I feel just fine (at least, all 41 weeks with C, and all 26 so far with M) but I do feel ready to have my own body back to myself by the end.

Loved it! I had a very easy and comfortable pregnancy. I felt greasy about my body image too!

I'm actually a little sad I didn't take the time to remember and enjoy my last day pregnant, but the day felt chaotic and rushed. We do plan on having more kids. I hope I enjoy my next pregnancy as much as this!

@LMOG47: I do sometimes wonder if I was pregnant with one if I would feel differently, but I'm so so excited that we're having twins!

I was relatively miserable until I was about 18 weeks, along. At that point, it became a wonderful experience.

I really enjoyed my 1st pregnancy until maybe a month before when everything started getting really uncomfortable. I didn't enjoy my 2nd pregnancy because by then I was over it - pregnancy is not the same when you can't rest and relax when you want, but instead you still have a toddler to chase after.

I absolutely loved being preggo. DS was super nice to me (so, so thankful). They say expect the complete opposite when you're preggo with #2 so i'm absolutely terrified of what's to come when we start TTC for #2

Yes, but I had very easy pregnancies. The first time it was all novel and fun, and with my second - I knew it would be my last pregnancy - I focused on enjoying it and ignored the unpleasant.

Nope. I was uncomfortable and although it was a normal pregnancy, I was aching all over.

I liked feeling him roll and kick, until he started kicking in between my ribs. I liked the excitement of a new baby, and not having to suck in my belly. I liked my hair.

But I was constantly nervous because of a recent loss, and the fact that I had a SCH just hanging out, which, because of it's positioning, I was told could cause my placenta to detach and me to lose the baby. I was also sick all the way through, even while I was pushing. I had major food aversions to meat and dairy--I struggled to put on and keep on weight. I was also in a lot of pain when I moved starting sometime in the second trimester, and it just got worse until even trying to walk left me nearly in tears.

I never had a "golden trimester", and really didn't enjoy the process all that much.

I loved it i had a very easy pregnany though with no complications, pains or morning sickness and I also carried all in the belly so I know I got lucky.

I felt like crap throughout my first trimester but I'm enjoying my second, especially now that I can FINALLY feel baby move (it was a later bloomer and I didn't start feeling flutters till 21 weeks).

Another thing I'm enjoying is embracing my bump. Before getting pregnant, I had a belly that I was very self-conscious about, and I hid behind baggy clothes. But now that it's an obvious bump and not just a food baby, I'm having fun wearing clothes that show it off a little bit.

There are things I could do without - the heartburn, the nighttime leg cramps, the fatigue, the tailbone pain - but for the most part, I'm digging my second trimester.

    NO!!!

My first pregnancy was wonderful, every kick was amazing, but I was super sick for the first 22 weeks and miserable from 35 weeks on with swelling and carpal tunnel and high blood pressure- I still loved the experience for the most part.

While I'm so in love with the results of my second pregnancy, it was not nearly as magical of an experience. Minus the swelling, the rest of my symptoms were the same, it was pretty sucky. He was posterior for most of the pregnancy, so every time he moved was very uncomfortable. We are going to try for one more in a few years, I know my husband and I are both dreading the pregnancy part already.

    Um, no.

This is our first sticky baby after 2 miscarriages and so while I'm very grateful to be pregnant after 2.5 years, pregnancy has not been fun for me. I've been dealing with morning sickness since 5w. I'll be 16 weeks tomorrow and I'm still on Zofran. Granted, its not 24/7 like it used to be, but now when I do get MS, its sudden and violent. Kicks me in the teeth. I've been so sick and miserable that DH asked me if he thinks I can do this again (we want at least 2 kids) and all I said was that I hope our second pregnancy, God willing, is easier.

I loved it with my 1st and didn't "feel pregnant" until he dropped around 37 weeks.

With my 2nd I didn't love it as much. I was moodier and not nearly as energetic. But we are done now, so no regrets!
