I loved salads! My mom would make a simple iceberg lettuce with american cheese and ham salad with italian dressing (which was my fave then).
How can I get the kids into salads too? I still love salads!

Not really. I didn't know a world of salads existed beyond iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers. That was the extent of our salads.
The only part I liked was making our own salad dressings!

Yes, I loved salads growing up! My mom used to make this oil/vinegar/lemon juice/cilantro dressing and it was heavenly. I should ask her for the recipe. I'm sure it's really basic but for some reason, her version was so good!

not really, but I think that was mostly bc I hated (and still hate) store bought dressing.

My sister and I always loved (still love!) all food- anything put in front of us we would eat. It never occurred to us not to eat something. Salads were always good!

Yes, my parents would serve garden salads, literally from the garden in summer, with most dinners.

I've always loved them! I started helping my mom with the cooking when I was 7 or 8 by making salads. I thought it was fun to choose everything!

I didn't, but it was mostly because my family didn't eat them regularly (my dad had/has the palate of a picky toddler, so salads were a no-go for family meals). When I was in high school, I made an effort to get into more fresh produce, and definitely crave certain salad combinations now!

Yes, but only as a side dish. A salad has never been and will never be an actual meal for me.
