I have one more batch to do tomorrow and then I'm done.

@NorCalWayfarer: Last year, we were on a road trip that crossed 5 states from 12/23 to 1/3. We spent Christmas in Lake Tahoe and that's where we took our Christmas photo. A few days later, I got them printed at Rite-aid and shipped them off while we were still on our road trip. I was ok with my New Year's holiday photo.

@bluestriped bee: Oh that sounds like fun! I'm just a procrastinator and didn't take puppy pictures until this weekend, then was lazy and didn't order the cards until today. Oh well...

@NorCalWayfarer: Oh, I'm a procrastinator, too. Have been late on Christmas cards for years. This year, I finally got them done early and here I am haven't even touched them yet. DH is writing out the envelopes today. Even when I plan ahead, things still get sent out late. haha

I finally got them all sealed and stamped today , but a snowstorm during rush hour made it so I couldn't get to the post office. I will drop them off tomorrow!

@Arden: oh yeah, i'd think that's plenty of time. Ours won't even be sent until after Jan 1, bc this year they're doubling as birth announcements (due 12/29).

Whoa, is regular mail "standard post service"? According to that link a bunch of us are way late! I am mailing mine tomorrow and figured 5 business days should do it!

I ordered them on Saturday night and don't expect them to be ready until the end of the week. Once I have my hands on them, I'll hurry up and address them ASAP. I'm okay if people don't receive them until after the holidays as long as it's before the end of the year.

I mailed them all last week. I ended up halving my list since a few people are away for vacation anyway. I may continue with this smaller list for next year.
