More specifically...to address the hair loss?
I normally wear my hair with a side part/bangs, but i'm starting to get that receding hairline on one side! I'm wondering if i should just get blunt bangs, or if anyone has any good ideas on addressing hair loss.

No advice. I chopped mine all off 
I went from shoulder length to this style and I love it. It did nothing for the hair loss except that its less noticeable because my hair is shorter.

@jetsa: Nice, bold! i chopped all of mine off after my first pregnancy but i hated the in-between phase.

Ugh I lost SO much hair too starting at lke 3.5 mo pp and now at 5.5 mo pp I think it eased up a bit but still going on! I have a side part too... I refuse to chop my hair tho lol b/c short hair for me would be high maintenance! I have fine/thin hair and it'll probably not look right if I don't blowdry/style it.

I left mine long, but I did go with bangs around 8 months pp. I didn't really notice how much of my hairline I'd lost until it started growing back in! The bangs hid all the short little hairs around my hairline for the next year or so.

What has been worse for me than the PP hair loss is the regrowth! My DD is now 17 months and all the hair that fell out around my face is about 3-4 inches long. And since I have curly hair, it's just a mess! Ugh! I definitely need to do something, but I don't know what.

@lamariniere: the regrowth is so awful! It looks like I'm attempting to have a female side spike - all the hair along my part sticks straight out - the hairs are only about an inch long and there's a huge chunk of hair that is trying to grow back. It looks so bad!!!

I cut myself some 'even' bangs which I casn wear sideswept or in front. They cover my balding hairline well.

I cut all my hair off recently. It's been amazing with my crazy curly regrowth.

I have a lot of hair and it's thick so my hair stylist recommended keeping it as is for the first few months and brushing it every day. At 8 months pp she cut several inches off and thinned it out.

I'm definitely getting color. I've been wanting to lighten my hair for a while. My stylist discouraged it during pregnancy, since pregnancy hormones may cause it not to take. I've been growing out my hair for the last 1.5 years, so while I'm tempted to cut it, I don't want to start over! My hair grows very very slowly.

UGHH I am tempted to chop it daily, my hair loss is insane it started around 3.5 months and just keeps on going... now DD is in the hair pulling stage... lol so it is up a lot!

I got bangs at 8 months PP for this exact reason. I look sooo much better. The regrowth and hair loss made me look so sloppy. Now I look put together. You can't see any of the fuzzies or bald spots anymore. I don't thing bangs are the best look for my face, but its definitely better than before.

I have side swept bangs and the hair loss thinned out my bangs a lot! It looked so bad. So my hair dresser cut me more bangs to fill them in and they looked way better.

@dc yoga bee: i hear you - my hair grows very slowly and i hate being stuck in that in-between length for too long.
@SleepyMonkey: I was originally going to get a bang trim, but i just saw an old picture and forgot how thin they looked post partum. Maybe i'll just see if she can thicken the bangs for me.

Ugh well now I know why so many new mom's cut their hair short. But I just couldn't do it! It took it like a year and a half to look decent again the first time around. This time I'm actually not getting better hair during pregnancy, so maybe that means less hair loss after?

My hair is soooooo long right now and I've been wanting to chop it, but i have held off because we are doing pictures. But then I'm going to take some off for the summer. It's so heavy and long right now. Next summer, I want to go short again, but I don't think it looks good on me when I'm carrying extra weight around, so I'm gonna hold off a year. Plus it's more high maintenance so not a great brand new mom style
