We did. Moved around a lot before I turned 5, then moved 2 more times before settling down in the current house my parents are in.

I grew up in a military family, so we moved a lot, Like every 2-3 years (on average) a lot. I liked it -- I didn't realize that people didn't move around until I got older.

We moved around a ton. Always rentals. DH and I bought our forever home right when we got engaged. I hope we never have to move again....well, maybe once would be ok. Like into a low maintenance home. That's so nice that you can go visit your old home whenever you want to. I can't imagine how stable and secure that would be!

I've lived in the same house growing up, and my mom is still there.

We moved twice when I was younger, but only once to a different city. I didn't start school when we first moved, and the second move was to a different neighborhood in the same city.

I lived in the same house until I left for college; my parents still live there (27 years for them) and plan on retiring there.

Unfortunately, we did not buy our "forever" house before we started having kids. I think we'll move at least once (possibly twice) before our oldest hits school-age.

I lived in the same house from when I was three months old until I graduated from college (at which point my parents downsized). Our LO(s) will likely have just one move... From TN where we are now back to MA where we are both originally from. But we intend to move before our oldest is in Kindergarden so the kids will always be in the same school system.
