When DH told his dad about our loss he was obviously upset & sad, but he also asked if we named the baby....
We of course didn't know the sex of our baby, but I really felt like it was a boy... and while DH & I were in prayer Saturday night God impressed a name on us. We didn't really know what it meant at the time, but now we're feeling like it was/is supposed to be our baby's name.

Yes. We found out through the D&C testing that ours was a girl. We named her Elizabeth Ann (both of our moms middle names).

Yes, we named both of ours. We don't know their sexes, so we gave them gender neutral names. I'm really glad we did.

Yes...but I was much further along and had already been calling her by name since we knew she was a girl.

We had called him/her Stormy from the beginning, because we were planning to be team green and wanted some sort of name to use. So we didn't pick a name that we would have used if s/he had made it, but I did get a bracelet that has the name on it.

No we did not. I had to focus on my pregnancy with the remaining twin, now my beautiful R. I did take about a week to grieve though.
ETA - I still think about what life would be like with twins.

Nope. We didn't know the sex, although I feel it was a girl. It was too early. I would have if it wasn't so early on.

No I did not. It was an early loss around 7 weeks. I think maybe we would have if I was further along.

Not officially. We had a boy and girl name picked out, and I'm pretty sure it was a boy. We were going to use those names for our next, and we had a girl. So I think he should have the boy name.

Yes. We had to deliver and couldn't leave until we named her and made a decision about burial.

No, we didn't. I didn't feel strongly about the sex, and TBH it was just something I wanted to put behind me and not think about anymore. But I might have had I been further along or had an idea of the gender.

@runsyellowlites: we didn't know the sex of ours either as we were team green, but I had a very strong feeling that I knew throughout the entire pregnancy. We decided to give them gender neutral names so it would fit either sex. In the end, I was correct on my mommy intuition 
I think it's wonderful you are contemplating naming your sweet angel baby. He or she will forever be a part of your family!

I didnt. My loss was super early though and, personally, it helped me not to think of it as a baby but as a cluster of cells that had the potential to grow into my future baby but, for whatever reason, didnt. I mourned the loss of what could have been as opposed to what we had actually lost.
I think its lovely that you have been given a name - its like a glimpse into heaven, showing you that your angel baby is okay up there. I reckon heaven's awesome.

Yes. My loss was super early, didn't even know the gender officially, but we already named her.

We had a super early loss and we had been referring to the baby as "poppy" because it was the size of a poppy seed. And the nickname stuck. Righ afterwards I was shopping with my mom and saw a pandora charm of a poppy flower and I got that to remember the baby by.

We named both of our angel babies. They were both early - around nine weeks - so we did not know the sex. But we had a feeling with both of them so we just named them based on that.
After our first mc we wanted to do something meaningful to remember our baby. So my husband and I had a special time just the two of us when we chose a name for the baby and each wrote her a letter that we saved with our ultrasound. We did the same after our second. It was hard but I think it really helped and I felt the baby deserved some sort of memorial.

DH actually came up with the name. Even though it was super early and we didn't know the sex of the baby we still name it Gabriel after St. Gabriel the Archangel. God's messenger angel.

We did not but it was an earlier miscarriage. I'm sure if we had had a later loss we would have considered it.

@kml636: I agree with @LovelyPlum, it's never too late. After we delivered and named our babies my sister who had two previous m/c's a couple of years ago said she never had thought to give her babies a name. She had very early losses, so she never found out the sex and it never crossed her mind to give them a name. She ended up naming them both and said she feels much better even though its years later! It is still your baby no matter how long has gone by and if you want to give a name you should!
