I was so busy talking to people that I think I may have had one drink. By the time we got to the party at the bar next to our hotel I was so exhausted that we stayed for about 20 minutes.

nope. i rarely drink and DH had a few, but he had to drive us home :o)

I don't think either of us realized that we were drunk until we got to the hotel room. I purposely ate as much as I could at dinner since I had heard so many people talk about how they didn't eat at their weddings. I loaded up! Luckily my dress was a little loose so I could fit it. I had great friends who made sure a drink was in my hand the whole night. However, I was on such a high from it being our wedding and we got to be with everyone we loved in the world that the alcohol didn't affect me until later.
Many, many others got wasted at our wedding. Luckily no one was sloppy.

Helllllll no. I would have been so mad! We had an expensive hotel suite gifted to us and I wanted to enjoy it with my husband, sober!!!
I had one glass of wine and DH probably had a couple beers. Once we got to our room we drank champagne, ordered pizza and played board games.

Not hammered, but I had the hangover of a lifetime the next day. Didn't throw up, but felt so, so sick. I have avoided champagne ever since

Neither of us drink, and we wanted to be especially careful not to ruin the wedding night because alcohol gives me migraines and makes his crohns flair up. We even had grape juice instead of wine during the ceremony.
