If so, what color?
We didn't, because we have weird high walls/ceilings, and we rent. We are allowed to paint, but we're not planning on staying here long and didn't want to have to turn around and repaint.
So instead of paint to bring some color in I put circle decals on one wall (in grey, yellow and teal), and a big tapestry on another.
I like the warmness they bring to the room but can't wait until we are in a more permanent place where I can paint!

No because we also rent, but when we move we will paint it gray and possibly add purple stripes to one wall.

We don't need a nursery YET but we did paint the spare room in hopes of needing it soon

We haven't yet but will be. Probably a grey colour to go with the theme.
My husband had room mates before I moved in and the room for the baby was one of the roommate rooms. It's had a lot of wear and tear and I want it to be fresh and new before baby comes. Plus, I get carried away with wall putty and now all the walls have little white marks all over them from me puttying any and all nicks and holes I see!!!!!

Yes! Well, we painted it before I got pregnant, but we knew it would eventually be the nursery so I picked out the color with that in mind. It's Restoration Hardware's silver sage.

We painted a lattice pattern on the wall... and by "we" I mean DH. The nursery is my favorite room in our house.

I did gray with an aqua strip on the edge of the ceiling and aqua in the closet. The border is about 10 inches and there is white crown molding in between. I love how it turned out!
But I love your circles too! Great idea for renting.

We will be painting ours. We just moved in a year ago, and I absolutely loath the color on the walls, so I'm looking at paint colors now for a nice gender neutral room (eventually, our kids are going to have to share).

Yep! We painted them a tan color. The nursery colors are pink, chocolate brown and tan. Brown would have been too dark and pink walls wouldn't go with anything else in the house and DH wasn't a fan of pink walls.

We painted the walls a warm gray color and will put white floor to ceiling tree decals across the wall where the crib is.

LOVE the idea of a white tree decal on grey walls! I actually was planning on doing the same, but then I figured our teal (turquoise?) stripe was enough.

We did (and by "we" I mean DH ). It's quite a dark grey (BM Trout Gray) and looks really great with our white nursery furniture. Accent colours are yellow and aqua.

We aren't going to. When we moved in, we painted the walls a beige/grey colour and decided to leave them like that. We're doing a nature/woodland theme anyway, so it works well,

Yep. We did a light blue with a yellow band and inside the band were white, green and blue circles. I love her room!!

@FutureMrsMcK: We did the walls blue first, then added the yellow band (DH did this, I'm a TERRIBLE painted). Then we used clear contact paper type stuff to make our own stencils using exacto knives. We just traced things we already had in the house to get the perfect circles (cups/plates ect) and went to town.

@sslm: @LindsayInNYC: @FutureMrsMcK: Thanks, I really love it! It was super simple. We painted the wall a clean white and then ran 2" painters tape in the lattice pattern and painted the blue over it. Then we just ripped off the tape for the white to show through.

Oh, and the apartment we are moving to already has the baby's room a nice sunny yellow, so we won't paint. I don't know if we would be allowed but since we are team green (well... team yellow?), it works well already.
