My parents did this for us, and I wanted to do it for LO, but we just got so busy and never did. We're going to plant one for her first birthday instead.

@chopsuey119: My parents didn't think they were in their forever home but they did anyway. I'm glad because it turned out to be their forever home! My sister and I have magnolia trees out front. But they had to cut down my brother's tree because it got too big and was dangerous in case of a hurricane. Glad it wasn't my tree!

My husband wants to do this. We live in the city, so we're looking for programs that would allow us to plant a tree in a park.
