I grew up in the country and my siblings and I played outside almost every day. My stepmom would lock us out so she could clean and get some peace.

Haha we never got locked out but we played outside all day in the summer!! We lived in a really safe neighborhood so my sister and I were allowed to wander all over town by ourselves. We'd go to the parks, ride bikes or even visit the public pool.

We lived in the city so not as much as we would have liked to. But sure did spend much more time outside than some kids today!

For sure! We lived on a farm and there was way more to do outside.

Definitely! We lived on a dead-end street with only 5 houses. We were outside all day. Our neighbor painted a kickball court and hopscotch in the middle of the street for us to use.

Yes and no. My parents were divorced....when with my dad we were outside ALL. THE. TIME. he lived in a huge neighborhood with tons of kids. My mom lived much further out so when we were with her, we just went out or went to friends.

Before my stepmom moved in I pretty much lived outside playing with the kids on my street!

We were forced to! And I had no where else to go. And I wanted to get out of the house. Crazy to think of the adventures I went on miles away and unattended!

Nope. My sister and I much preferred to play inside or read. In fact, my parents would punish us by sending us outside to play since sending us to our room was something we liked to do.

all the time! My parents have 5 acres, and my little brothers and I were outside nearly every day unless it was way too hot or too cold.

We spent tons of time outside! I was especially partial to climbing trees and playing house up there with my sister.

Yeah, I was ALWAYS outside, either at my house, my now stepmom's house, or my cousin's house. All of the neighborhood kids would be, almost all year round (we lived in TX at the time). Even after dinner we'd sometimes still be outside playing flashlight tag.
