DH is putting it up now and I'm writing Christmas cards! When do you plan to put yours up?

Oooh I'm so jealous! I'll be the first Saturday in December for us and I'll have my first alcoholic drink since Feb-a big festive glass of Baileys, yum!

We decorate the house the first weekend of December and we put up a real tree, maybe 2 weeks before Christmas.

It's going up tomorrow afternoon! It would have gone up today but we were sale shopping until 2PM and I took a long nap when we got home.

I've been wanting to put one up for weeks now but we haven't gotten around to buying one yet. We're getting a fake one since it's the only one I can put up now and a real one later one once it's available.I want this one from Ikea! I wanna get it today but it's the last salary day before Christmas and it'll be a madhouse in that area. Sigh. I want my tree already!

We did! Ours is potted from a Christmas tree farm so we just dragged it in the house and decorated our three year old tree. DH worked on his part of the cards while we watched a movie. I have to write the Christmas letter this weekend.

We put up ours today...I love decorating the tree immediately after Thanksgiving! We only decorated a little more than half of it though bc we didn't want LO to be pulling all the ornaments/ribbon off...it looks kind of silly but I guess that's life with a 12 month old

Yup! I was looking more forward to Friday than Thanksgiving so I could start decorating! Not that we have much to decorate...

We don't do Christmas .... but my plan was to do chanukah decorations yesterday. I was too busy though
hopeful they'll get up today, chanukah is so soon!

Nope, we put it up on the 1st of December every year and take it down on epiphany following the start & end of the Christmas period.

We're still at my parents and our weekdays are so busy, that I'm thinking it will be next weekend.

We put ours up Nov 12 LOL. We like to put it up super early and take it down Jan 1.

I'm so jealous of those of you that have your trees up already! I usually put ours up the first weekend of December but we just started renovations on our entire main floor. I may not be able to put it up until mid-December. :'(

We're due in the beginning of December, so we're probably going to get our tree tomorrow! That's a couple of weeks earlier than we'd usually get a live tree, but we'd like to have a little bit of time to just celebrate Christmas before baby arrives and shakes things up.

Our tree and lights are up but we didn't have time to do the ornaments so we will do tomorrow when we get back in town.

Its hard to say! DH is up for a great new job at a plant in a small town three hours away, so we're holding off until we know if we're moving or not- putting up my IL's for them on Sunday though!

Just put our tree up and will wait for the branches to "fall" before putting on the ornaments tomorrow. It smells soooo good in here!

oh yeah! its up and decorated. This is our first year in a house (we rented an apt previously) and we just went to Home Depot and went bananas buying lights to decorate outside!
