I read Encyclopedia Brown books, and then switched to the Three Investigators. I read crime/mystery books, so I guess I haven't changed all that much!

Encyclopedia Brown(!), Beverly Cleary books (Ramona the Pest series and the Mouse and the Motorcycle), Nancy Drew, Roald Dahl books, and Judy Blume books (Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, Super Fudge, etc.)

I loved reading series when I was a kid. And still do, actually. Some of my favorites: Babysitter's Club, American Girl series, Sweet Valley twins, Boxcar Children, Nancy Drew, the Wrinkle in Time series, Chronicles of Narnia, Little House on the Prairie, Little Women and its sequels, Tamora Pierce's Circle of Magic books, Harry Potter (although I was older than a "kid" then!).

I loved a series called "Vlad the Drac" by a writer called Ann Jungman. They're about twins that find a baby vegetarian vampire under a stone whilst on a sightseeing trip in Romania with their parents. They sneak him back to England and havoc ensues. I just bought them all again so I can read them to our little one!!!

Although, I should admit that I apparently read a lot more young adult now as an adult than I ever did as a kid! I'm so cool...

The American Girl books were big at my house. My LO shares a name with one of the Girls and I can't wait to buy her the doll!!!

Babysitter's Club (I think I read them all!), Boxcar Children, the Mandie series, some of the American Girl books (Samantha was my fav). I read some of the Little House books, too.
I read way more as a pre-teen than I do now. It's sad.
