.I was so confused this morning, until I read a post by Chopsuey119 that explained that we sprang forward today.
Did you remember daylight savings time today?

Did you remember daylight savings time today?

Yes but it still a little confusing until we get around to changing all of our clocks! At least we got to "sleep in" today.

Yup! I keep thinking that tomorrow morning is going to suck because today is the saint Patrick's day parade, so I have a feeling tomorrow I'll be a hurtin pup & it'll feel like I have to get up an hour early because we changed the clocks haha. This morning it was nice 'cause I usually feel obligated to stay in bed later on weekends, but I when I was ready to get up it was 715 which is a totally fine time to get up!

Yes - I changed the clocks mid-day yesterday so I wouldn't forget to do it today.
watermelon / 14206 posts
Yep...I woke up and looked at the clock, remembering it was an hour ahead of that.
Except we forgot, when we went out to breakfast and it was colder outside at 9:30 am than we expected.

Yes DH had to bring my sister to the airport early! But I knew it was dst before that anyway.. However his clock didnt change and I had to wake him up.

Yes, and I don't like this one. Losing sleep=not ideal. I don't see why it's necessary anyway.

Nope! I fed DS at 1:45 and then couldn't figure out why my phone app has me ending at 3:10 but only feeding for 25 minutes. Further confused by getting up to get water and our oven clock saying it was 2.
GOLD / wonderful pea / 17697 posts
Yeah but only because I saw a post on it yesterday and was still awake when it changed over.
squash / 13199 posts
Nope! So we lost an hour? I thought that was like end of march or something lol
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21628 posts
Yep. I feel like part of my day has been wasted because I slept later than usual.

Yepp!!@FutureMrsMcK: I was award when it changed over too! Woohoo lol.

We hopefully got lo on a good schedule already. She woke up early yesterday so we went for an early bedtime. It seems to be helping shift her schedule today.

I woke up and looked at the clock and thought I FINALLY managed to sleep in a bit -- and then I remembered. But I did get an extra two hours in!
blogger / pomegranate / 3491 posts
I remembered but LO picked today to wake up an hour earlier than usual so we are all jacked up schedule wise. Blah.
blogger / pomelo / 5400 posts
Yup. We took advantage of LO "sleeping in" and not being tired at 1 to go to the zoo. Just got back and put him down for his nap.

Didn't really think about it! Thank goodness for cell phones that adjust the time for you.
honeydew / 7444 posts
Yes, i remembered. I'm surprised when people forget. It's on calendars!
apricot / 367 posts
Yes, but only because the majority of our clocks do it automatically and because I just happened to be up at 2 (then 3) in the morning!
hostess / wonderful persimmon / 25556 posts
Yes but half of the day I have been off because I haven't changed some clocks. So, did I feed the baby at 8 or 7? Did she nap at 9 or 10?
blogger / eggplant / 11551 posts
Yup, but only bc I was awake in the middle of the night feeding DS and realized that the time on my cell and the time on our clock was different.
pomelo / 5321 posts
I remembered that it was today but I forgot that Hawaii doesn't observe the time change. I was about get up and change my clocks!
pear / 1812 posts
You better bet I remembered! I work 12 hour shifts from 6 PM -6 Am which means my night went from the normal 12 hours to a exciting 11!

Yes! I have been looking forward to it, so I would be able to start sleeping an hour later every morning and hanging out with my baby later in the evening.
I remember how much I hated fall back (although it only took a week to adjust him).
But it was a fail and he was in bed an hour earlier than usual (aka the same "clock time") Bummer.
