We did! Last year was the first time and we used a picture from our wedding. This year we used one of LO's pictures and they came out amazing!! (If I do say so myself. lol)

Yes! We did a Christmas card/birth announcement with one of her newborn photos. I loooove the way they turned out. I was pretty impressed with myself that she was born on Nov 26th and I managed to get the photos taken, get the image from the photog, order the cards online, and address and stamp them all to be mailed by Dec 13th!! Luckily that was all before my baby decided naps are for losers!

We did holiday cards with pictures my mom took of us plus the dog.

We ended up doing New Year's cards this year because I couldn't guarantee we'd get them out before Christmas.

We didn't...I wanted to but then I kind of lost interest. When we get holiday cards I end up throwing them out bc we have no where to display them, which makes me think that other ppl probably don't really want ours. Maybe next year though.

We do every year! I do it as much for myself as anything else. It's nice to do something to remind our friends that we're thinking of them in a personal way.

Yep! Baby was born 11.25 so I had labels already printed and picked out designs for birth announcements, Xmas cards, and printed moving announcements. Had to pay for rush shipping but they're sent! Hope to have it be annual with a pro family pic.

We did. Chanukah was early so we had them out a month ago. Next year chanukah is before thanksgiving so I'm going to have to be on the ball. I have a feeling my none Jewish friends are going to think I'm nuts.

I did. I was planning on getting normal cards until I saw the sale on Zazzle (someone posted it up on HB) and ended up doing photo cards of DD instead. The shipping was a little complicated: I had them shipped to my mom and instructed her to send me a specific amount to send to ppl in Sweden, while she kept the rest to send from there (i saved massively on stamps this way). I printed out everyones address on labels and ordered stamps in advance, so she just had to put the 'stickers' on. it wasn't too much of a pain for her.

yup! i love sending and receiving cards! i cut out pictures from lil' cb's favorite little buddies' and family members' cards and hang them on the little board in his room -- it's fun to change them out each year!

No, I was too busy writing out my shower thank yous to bother ALSO doing Christmas cards! Next year!

We love doing a holiday card each year!! We don't really write messages anymore though... we just order the photo cards and send em out. Our list is up to 85 recipients this year. We've tried each year to narrow it down but we just can't. I guess in our circle sending out cards is the norm because our little board in the kitchen is completely full! I love getting cards in the mail and seeing pics of everyone. I'm going to start a new tradition this year of putting them all in a mini scrapbook and label it with the year. That way you can look back through the years and see how everyone's kids have grown.

Come to think of it, that would be a lot of annoying little scrapbooks. Maybe I'll get one big scrapbook and do a 2-page spread for each year.
