I did! I got emotional rereading mine too a couple of weeks ago! I shared it because I wanted to write it down before I forgot but also just in case any information helped anyone. Plus I was really excited about all of it!

Yes, because I love reading them, so sharing mine was a no-brainer. Plus I'd already written it down so I wouldn't forget anything.

Not with anyone other than my husband and son. To me, it's something really private and just for the three of us. I wrote my son a letter and it's in his baby book, in case he ever wants to know more about the day he came into the world.

Definitely!
Reading other natural birth stories was so vital for the prep for my own so I felt almost obligated to share AND I was super proud that I actually did it. tehe

No. But I have been meaning to write it down for LO. I didn't share because it was long, complicated, and scary . . . I didn't want to scare any pg posters.

I did. I am so glad I wrote it down because I forget little things that it can help me remember.

I love re-reading it!

I can still feel my excitment about it all, 13 months later!

Nope, I wasn't active again on this board until a couple of months ago. My birth story is also a little boring too other than totally not paying attention to labor signs all day at work.
bananas / 9357 posts
Yep! I also wrote out a better version on my blog.

No. I have notes and will write it up for the baby book but honestly its pretty boring. The really intimate moments that stand out in my memory I wouldn't feel comfortable sharing online anyways; they're just between DH LO and I. I like reading birth stories though!

Yes, my husband wrote it from his perspective though! I love reading it from his side.

I wrote a short version and shared it with the ladies on the November 2012 board when I announced that she had arrived http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/hey-nov-2012-mamas/page/36.
Then I wrote a much longer, detailed version that is just for LO that I printed and put in her baby book. DH also wrote his version of the day and we have that keepsake as well.

Nope I wasn't "offically" a member of the boards then and I'm too lazy to write it up. I have a birth story that my midwife wrote for me though.

Yes! I wanted to share my experience of an induction without pain meds, incase it could help someone else!
pineapple / 12526 posts
Yep! It was very cathartic to write it down, so I did.

I intended to write one, but never got around to it. I might still do it even though it's been ages since then. I have all the hospital notes so I'll know the details of what and exactly when.

@MsLipGloss: Sorry to hear that yours was so scary. I feel mine was that way as well. Writing it almost helped me heal from it a little better!
Here's mine. I still cry re-reading it...but more out of sadness that it was so scary not knowing how LO was.

I did. I loved reading others' stories and thought that others might like to read mine. I also wanted to have it written so I can remember all of the little details.

Not yet! I need too though. I made DH take notes so I could.

I'm going to, I just have to finish processing it for myself. I'll probably post it in a week or so.

I've been wanting to but was just too chicken.

I had a really positive c-section and birthed a whopper. As a pregnant lady I read as many stories as I could and soooo many of the c-section stories were terrifying as were the stories of LGA babies. I felt like I owed it to other mamas to leave a happier message.
