We had two showers for DS#1. I bought a few things here and there, but for the most part, we had everything generously gifted to us!
I find myself wanting to BUYALLTHETHINGS for baby dos, especially clothes!

I just buy things if I need them for both kids. I am not into shopping!

I think because we are dealing with a space issue. I haven't purchased anything for the babies. I think once we figure out the logistics of where we will all fit and sleep I may spend some cash on babies.

I didn't buy anything for #2 because they were the same sex, so no need!

I buy way more for #1. Now I know it'll have another life with #2.

Hardly anything. Our baby gear got ruined by our neighbors flooding the closet, so that has to be replaced.

Way less for #2. She gets all big sister's hand me downs from gear to bottles to clothes.

I bought a million things for #2. He's a different gender and there were several big things we needed and no shower this time. Double stroller, car seat, swing, bouncy, crib, glider and clothes!!

If baby #2 is a boy, we will have a lot of shopping to do! But if it's anotber girl, I probably won't have much at all to buy!

Nope! I hardly need anything! Friends gave me clothes....we have all the newborn stuff.....we need some furniture but we just buy ikea so whatever! Daycare is too expensive to get frivolous lol

Situation is different, but I've already bought more clothes for this LO than I ever did for R, even though I'm only 18 weeks. DH usually stops me, but I think he sees that sometimes I need to do something positive when I'm stressed, and buying some cute outfits that I'm excited to put her in can help.

I'm going to have to buy almost everything. D was so set on being one and done that we gave away pretty much all of E's old stuff. Only big things we kept were diapers, the pump, and our BOB stroller. And the crib, but he's still using it.

We need to buy loads of clothes but I haven't bought a single thing yet. Need to get on that.

Same as some PP, I buy more for O now because I mentally divide the price in half.. By 2 kids
But yeah, I supposed I could say I buy more for C because she didn't get a shower. I didn't *get* to buy much for DD1 because we were gifted so much!

I definitely bought more the first time because girl clothes are so cute! boy stuff just not as exciting, and as a SAHM to 2 I have less shopping ability than I did with just one baby. and we have gear already, though I have splurged on the few new things I wanted.

Yes because she was a girl. We didn't have a baby shower, and since we live overseas, we hardly received any gifts.

We haven't bought anything for baby #2 yet. I think in sort of in denial still... at almost 24 weeks!

I don't forsee buying too many clothes actually since they are the same sex! I need to update a bunch of things though, bottle parts, pump parts, some new sleep sacks and swaddles, etc
