I barely slept 10 mins after having Lo.
I'm tired, but I'm high on baby so I can't sleep!!
Baby boy on the other hand can't stay awake!

I went into labor st 1050p and delivered at 154a. I didn't go to sleep until around 430a thanks to the baby high!

Placenta delivery took about an hour after birthing LO, then I slept about an hour, and then I held LO for the 1st time, DH took good care of her in the meantime!

Nope! Despite not having adequate sleep in over a week thanks to lots of false labor, I couldn't sleep & was up ready to socialize! Lol

No! I couldn't close my eyes for even a second before I saw Baby Boy, which was 4 hours later! It was excruciating.

I was on baby high and didn't actually go to sleep until 10pm after giving birth at 2pm. I had been up all night and only slept for an hour (thank you epidural).

I was on a super high then crashed like crazy after everything quieted down. Sadly, 1 hour after I crashed it was time to wake up and feed the baby already!

No, because LO screamed her head off all night. The nurses felt sorry for me so one of them took her for a walk around the halls and let me sleep for 30 minutes.

No I wasn't tired after either! I was definitely on a high both times. But after my super long labor with Wagon Jr. I eventually ended up taking a nap. I think. I don't even remember.

I tried, since by the time I delivered I'd been up for 32 hours, but I had too much adrenaline.

No. I had a hemmorage and had to stay on a bunch of medication and IVs for an additional 12 hours and I was way too uncomfortable to sleep. Not in too much pain, but had to be on a catheter post childbirth which was insanely uncomfortable because they had to make sure my kidneys were functioning and I was producing plenty of urine. So no, no sleeping lol

I was on baby high and couldn't sleep despite the fact that we got moved into pp room at 11:30 pm. I don't even remember when I finally slept but I think it was only for a couple of hours.

I delivered at 2 in the morning. I was so out of it after 36 hours of crappy labor and then my baby need resuscitation and going straight to the nicu. Ugh. After a while they took her and I sent my husband with her and the team left and I was sort of alone, which I actually enjoyed. Then I went and met her, and then I spent a little time with my family, and then I learned to pump. Then I slept for 2 hours? And then it was morning. So barely.

Not until several hours later I was too excited and pumped with energy!

No, I stayed up cuddling her and texting my family and friends in England the whole time. I couldn't get enough of her!

I delivered at 3pm and I don't think I fell asleep until around 10pm? I also only had about 3 hours of sleep the night before. But after delivery I was on such a baby high it didn't matter.

Nope. I didn't sleep til 36 hours after she was born.
What's funny, though, is that she didn't fall asleep for the first time until 6.5 hours after she was born.

Yep, I took a nap in recovery, (1am - 1:30 am) then woke up for transfer and to cuddle with Sawyer for a while (2am-4am), then we all went to sleep from about 4am to 8 am.

I did a couple hours after delivery. I was exhausted. I woke up at 3:00am and DS was born at 9:17 pm. I'd say we probably went to sleep around 11ish. I got a few hours sleep before a nurse came in and decided I needed to practice walking at 2 or 3 in the morning. Annoying!!

Sort of... We got to recovery room at about 7pm, ate something, bathed LO, and then tried to sleep -- I just kept staring at my son in disbelief of the day! Between the 4hr checks on me & baby and BFing I def did get some Zzzz's.
