It was a gift but its just the graco from Walmart. It can go to a convertible but honestly if I just want it I make it through one kid as a crib and ill be happy. It has held up for 18 months great so far!

Our crib was a splurge, but Dh's parents bought it for us. If they hadn't, we would have bought it for ourselves.

We spent $250 (ok in laws did) and it was the crib we wanted.

We bought a Baby Cache crib from BRU. We originally wanted the Oeuf Sparrow.

My parents bought our crib, but we would have bought it ourselves anyways! It was the one I wanted, and I thought the price was reasonable, so I would say it was between splurge and save?... it was $450.

we bought our crib for less than 150$, and thank goodness, because we *still* haven't used it.

I guess splurge cause it cost more then I thought that it was going too. Especially once we bought the conversion kit as well.

Our crib was a splurge, but it was a gift from my mother-in-law. Too bad LO doesn't sleep in it.

@mrs. bird: That's the exact crib I want (and am going to get!). Even in that color Great minds think alike!

I couldn't vote as my Dad made our crib. He's a builder / joiner / cabinet maker by trade and he built LO a beautiful Rimu cot so that it matches the heirloom / antique furniture in our nursery.

I wanted something very simple, white, and plain. My dream crib was the Gulliver from IKEA -- $100.

We also got the inexpensive Graco Lauren crib and I'm glad we didn't spend more, because my daughter chewed it to pieces. She even gnawed on the back side of the crib! I won't feel bad getting rid of it when she's ready to move to a big girl bed.

We got a crib I love at a price I LOVE. It's the modena in grey from walmart. We debated between this one and the navy one from BRU but figured grey is more neutral if we have a girl.

@runnerd: here's a sneak peek photo that i took. we found the crib sheet fabric from joanns (flannel), and the burlap was reused from a wedding i attended that used it for table runners. the crib is the jenny lind crib.

@birdofafeather: I said it before and I'll say it again - LOVE what you did with that crib! We're definitely going to change it up for #2!

Our crib was actually a SAVE even though I just bought it because I really like the look! It's a DaVinci Jenny Lind (same as @birdofafeather: but in white).

We recieved a GC for Amazon and bought it right away, which was a good thing, because later down the line I found the Bratt Decor wrought-iron cribs, which would have been a DREAM crib! I don't regret our crib at all though, because I've seen it painted in all different colors and will be happy to change it up for baby #2 when the time comes. Our SPLURGE was the Naturepedic Organic mattress.

We splurged on a Young America crib. We looked at some other cribs but the YA was my first and only love.
