I'm going to start off by just admitting that I'm super lazy when it comes to exercising. I currently have no exercise plan/routine that I follow. However I was talking with a friend the other day about exercising and I mentioned that when I find out I'm pregnant (whenever that may be) that I would like to start walking/using my elliptical more regularly to just to try to balance out weight gain and stay fit during pregnancy. She told me that you're not supposed to do this; that you have to be doing an exercise routine for at least six months before you get pregnant. Her boyfriend is somewhat of a personal trainer and he supposedly read it in one of his books. I say this because he is not super official so idk if I really believe it. Has anyone else heard this? Did you start exercising when you got pregnant? Should I not do this?
