I didn't realize not studying was an option!! I didn't study to get 100% though... I was aiming for a 94% at all times.
Did you study hard growing up?

Yes ... A lot. I don't know why, my parents never pushed me at all, I just felt compelled to. I think I was afraid to fail! I wish I had kind of relaxed a little...

Yes, a lot. My parents and I both expected straight A's and I probably over studied most of the time. I expect my kids to study a lot but I'll make sure that they study smarter and grow up more active/well rounded.

Yes! I liked studying...most of the time I felt like I was learning something interesting.

Never. Ever. I was satisfied with the best grade I could get without doing any homework. Terrible. I did everything in class.

I didn't start to really study until senior year of high school. From then up through grad school I studied like crazy.

I never had to study until I got to high school math. Before that everything came easy and I never learned study skills... that sure did bite me in the butt when algebra showed up. I got my first D ever, and cried.
I think I ended up graduating with perfect scores in every other subject, and an 78 in math. *sigh*

I never really studied until I got to college. It was definitely a huge adjustment then.

I used to frustrate my parents because, in middle school and high school, I would barely study and get high 80s/low 90s pretty consistently. They would always say, "Imagine how well you could do if you actually applied yourself!" I definitely studied harder in undergrad and grad school though

Not super hard..I didn't pull all nighters or anything. I still managed to do well though. I think it's because I was super anal and always started studying early!

Ugh, yes. I have very academic-minded parents and was doing quite a bit of homework over my summer holidays as well
My high school was super competitive, so not doing homework wasn't really an option! I did discover that the college I went to was easier than HS, which meant partying > homework

No, I hated studying. My brother loved studying and I knew I could never top his grades so, I just floated through.

Nope. I didn't study hard at all. I wish I had. I think I was a little too sure of myself since I was in the gifted and talented program--I just thought I was so smart and didn't need to study like my non-smart peon friends
I didn't start studying until I got to college.

I always did well without studying growing up, and even during my undergrad. Now that I'm finishing my graduate degree, my abhorrent study skills are really killing me. I don't know how to study, and even if I did, I don't have time! I've been very stressed out this semester.

LOL. No. I hated being in school and just got by. My parents weren't the sort to push, either.

Yes because my parents were HUGE advocates for education, even during summer break! Plus, I had to study in order to do well on exams. Even when I studied I didn't always do well on them. Arg!

Nope! I always did my homework and did really well in school, but never learned how to properly "study" for things until freshman year of college. I want to teach my children good study habits earlier on!

Not really... I never studied all that hard because I did pretty well in school without trying. I was never a GREAT student, just top 10%, which was good enough for me. My parents were probably pretty disappointed... And in college, I only studied when I had a test coming up!!

It depended on the subject. I always did my homework and tried to do a good job, but when it came to studying for tests or quizzes, some subjects came more easily to me than others and required less studying.
But subjects that I struggled with (Physics, History), I studied hard because I wanted to get a good grade. Although probably not as hard as some people - I was always an A-/B+ student, which was good enough for me (and my parents).

I never really had to study before going to college. I hated to study!

I studied really hard! If I didn't feel that I put in the most effort possible and got a bad grade I was really disappointed in myself. I worked myself silly in highschool and university!

Nope. I was a straight B student putting in absolutely no outside effort and I was satisfied with that. I studied for ONE test the whole time I was in high school (and it wasn't even that big of a deal...).
In University I was really not all that much better. My studying usually involved just doing the readings that I never got around to doing when they were assigned. I'm such a slacker.
