I didn't register for one but we recently got them for our twins at 5 months of age. They both love looking at lights when we put them in the pack n play, so it made sense to get them for their cribs.

Yes. DD doesn't sleep in her crib, but it was great that I could put her in the crib and go do something and the mobile would entertain her for a short while!

We got one for DS and he loved it, but after he got too old for it to be over his crib we hung it off the ceiling in his room for decoration. He now hates the music and starts to cry if I turn it on. Confused

We have a paper mobile (no sound, lights, etc). It is more for decoration than DD's entertainment.

We don't have one on the crib but she loves the mobile on her swing!

We made a mobile. It has no sounds but if I push it it'll swing for a while. DS absolutely loves it and it keeps him entertained for a while.

Yes! Not to fall asleep but we put it up when we needed to entertain him so I could use bathroom, get his bath ready, etc. And it helped a lot when he would wake at 6/6:30. I would put it on and he'd lay there for another 30 min - hour looking at it! I really think that it helped him become the happy waker he is. He wakes up every morning and will entertain himself with stuffed animals or his lovey or even just his voice for a good half hour.

We have a cool paper one with swallows in his bedroom. Some one gave him a portable musical one that he loved as an infant.

I made one that was just knitted balls hung from a stick I found and my LO loved it! If you made the balls swing or sway she would kick her arms and legs like crazy. It was so adorable!

No, she would have ripped it down. Stubborn child.
