Nope. But I'm not a baby person and mine was a classic baby. Not super hard but definitely not easy.

Not at all but I know plenty of people who did so it's not just you! Some people really want their kids close in age for various reasons.

After my first child, for the first 3 months, I honestly couldn't figure out how ANYONE had a second baby on purpose. And my kid really wasn't that hard of a baby. It was just such a huge life change it felt overwhelming. My older LO just turned 3 and we had our second baby 2 weeks ago. We are definitely done, but this time around, my newborn is making me want to have 12 more. The transition has been surprisingly easy, and seeing the kids together melts my heart.

@LindsayLou: I felt like that when dd was a tiny infant, too. I'm definitely a baby person and wanted another one right away. But it wasn't good timing so we waited. Once dd got around 10-12 months that feeling went away and I couldn't imagine sharing my sweet dd with anyone else (not even a new sibling). I'm expecting now, and am due a week before dd turns 3. I couldn't be happier with our timing, honestly.

After my first colicky baby I didn't want to try for a second EVER. But of course I'm glad we did (2 years apart though).

No! Before having LO, my partner and I were talking about 2 (or maybe 3) kids. Now I'm pretty sure that every abortion cinic in the world would have to close before I'd have a second kid. I love the one I have, and he's sweet, adorable, and fun. But, no, I can't imagine having a second kid on purpose. Sweetie is really hoping I change my mind as LO gets older and sleeps more. The experience of actually having a baby has made my partner want a gajillion kids.

Not at all. I was drowning at the challenge of being a first time parent. I broke down on a daily basis because I couldn't handle the stress. For the first year I was firm about being one and done. After a year things got easier, and I settled into my role better. We were open to expanding our family. My LOs are 2.5 years apart.

I had baby fever around the time LO1 was 6 months, but we didn't act on it. We ended up conceiving LO2 when LO1 was 12 months and we have a 20 month age gap. I love it, but it's also been hard! I can't imagine them being even closer together.

We want a third, but we haven't decided on spacing yet. Definitely not before LO2 is 11-12 months (I have c-sections, so I also want my body to heal between babies).

Nope. At one point, I considered trying again at LO #1's first birthday because I hated my birth control so much. It didn't happen because our marriage was in a bad place. We waited until LO #1 was close to turning 2 to try for another. Oh yeah, LO #1 was colic baby. Sleep didn't return until 6 months old.

When I was pregnant, we talked about a 4 yr gap, or being one and done. As soon as LO #1 was born, I knew he had to have a sibling. I am not really a baby person and he was a little rough, so I never had "baby fever", but got major "sibling fever" around 6-8 months. As it settled, we are looking at there being a 23mo gap (pregnant w/#2 - would have had 20mo gap but had miscarriage)

No, I've honestly never had a real moment of baby fever since DD was born. She was a relatively easy infant but I knew I wanted time for my body to heal and to be able to "be me" again (whatever that means, haha). Then she got to be a toddler and now I have no real desire to repeat either the infant stage OR this one. She is really demanding and requires 110% attention and it's totally exhausting. But I see us with two kids in the long run, so we'll see, I just wish I could skip ahead to that point...

...But not really. It's so amazing watching DD grow and change and learn. I wouldn't actually want to miss out on that with a second kid. I'm just so wiped out.

Yes! I gave in and it was one of my best decisions. Ya, it might be crazy. But it's your family and only you and your husband should make the decisions on spacing.

Well we started talking about it at 9 months but waited til about 1.5 to start trying and lo2 wasn't born until lo1 was 3. Lo2 isn't the greatest sleeper (sttn at 5 weeks? What?!) hit compared to lo1 is a dream newborn. He makes me feel like I could try for another NOW if life circumstances permitted. But part of that feeling may be because he is my last. Do what's right for you. I know a lot of people are happy with super close spacing. I really enjoyed he freedom to travel and do other things with my first when she was a toddler. Either is ok!

Sort of. We knew we wanted two fairly close in age, so I wanted to start trying with LO1 was 6 months. AF returned around 9 months and we started NTNP. But it wasn't really baby fever - it was more just trying to stick to our plans.

Nope! Even when we got the okay to DTD again at 6 weeks, it didn't feel right down there and when we tried (even with lots and lots of lube), it was super uncomfy.

No way! I absolutely did not have baby fever back then! Between breastfeeding and DD not being a great sleeper, we had our hands full. Now that she's a year old, I definitely have the fever but we're still gonna wait to stick to our plans. We're looking for a 2.5-3 year gap.

Nope, but I had a harder infant, and I started a new job when she was 5 months.
