I am finishing a book chapter that I was working on before I went on leave... I don't mind, because I knew if I didn't get it done beforehand I would have to do it while home (since it's due when I go back).
However, my boss has emailed me a few times asking me to to do various things... most of the things he's asked for are not hugely time consuming, but I still find it annoying... I'm off from work for a reason!
Did you do any work while home on leave?

Yes, a little. I participated in several phone conferences, kept up with my email, and tracked pleadings filed in several cases.

Yes. I was emailed and asked for several things while on leave. They weren't big things but if I had done what I was supposed to have done and turned off my company cell, I would have missed them and likely would have lived without my input but I did it anyway. Sometimes I am my own worst enemy.

Yes I did. My work for a very small business (less then 5 people). I worked a lot from home when the baby was sleeping.

Yes, I worked through my whole maternity leave. Since I was on leave it was without pay for the last six weeks. Ouch. I take a lot of pride in my team's work though, so it was important to me that the quality didn't slip while I was out. My boss never asked me to work, I just did it on my own from home.

You aren't allowed to at my company! They disable your email and EVERYTHING. I am going to be 100% cut off!
