I'm planning my LO's birthday next month and I think we finally decided on ballerinas as a theme though I was really itching to do a cute Paris inspired theme as well.
Did your baby's 1st birthday party have a theme (or colors) and what was it?

My LO's in next week! No theme, but doing red and blue. Invites, cake, banner and favor tags match. I am setting up a bubble station for the handful of kids that will be there and the party favor is a bottle of bubbles. So excited!

I love Degas! Love the idea of a Paris/ballerina theme too.
I did a spring theme for DD--yellow, orange, 2 different shades of pink.

My oldest was Sesame Street, the twins had a western BBQ and Lilly had tinker bell and the fairies (she had a combined Peter Pan birthday with my son.

Ballet is such a cute theme, I'm hoping my LO will want that one day. She loves to twirl and wear a tutu, so I'm thinking it will happen
Her first birthday was Rose garden because her name is Rose. Second birthday was bows. I'd love to keep up with the super girly themes!

Ours happened kind of by accident. I found a cute banner and favor tags on Etsy that were blue and green polka dots. So, it's more colors than a theme I guess.

Perhaps take a look at Degas when planning your party, to bring in the innocence and beautiful colors as well as a bit of Paris flair?
Our theme for the first birthday for H was just animals - basic, generic, jungle themed. I'm already working on his second birthday because it will be a lot more fun and because if I don't think about it now, it'll be here before I know it!

We did a cookie monster theme. I made the pinterest cookie monster cupcakes, and then just had a lot of blue, with a sesame street Happy Birthday banner. It was easy and not over the top.

We did a picnic theme with primary colors - red, blue, green with some accents of yellow and orange. Lots of gingham and stripes.

LO's first birthday theme was Peter Rabbit.
I took ballet lessons for years, and can't wait to enroll LO in ballet and have a ballet themed bday party

F's birthday is in September. We're doing a "colors" theme with the colors of the rainbow. Mostly because it's easy and I want to make a layered rainbow cake

We did bees because that was the first animal sound LO started making and I wanted it to be something that he would recognize and enjoy (as much as a one year old can enjoy a party).

Ours was "April Showers", which mostly meant that we had umbrella-themed decor.

My son's party had a farm theme like his nursery. We gave all the kids farmer hats and he wore overalls and we had farmy decor and a mobile petting zoo. My daughter's birthday in October will be a vintage circus theme but without any animals. It's funny because my husband and I are very anti- the animal abuse that takes place with most circuses so we're focusing more on the tight-rope walkers and the clowns LOL. No animals!!!

It has sort of...a rainbow color scheme?
