My team beat the Houston Cougars. Did your favorite team win or lose?

Mine mine lost horribly. First time we've been shut out at home since 1966.

Lost. But they put up a good fight against a top 25 team so it is okay. The refs obviously favored the other team, which I guess we have to learn to deal with as we attempt to improve and play better teams.

Won! Feels nice after losing next week, although this one was a non-conference team.

They did but played poorly. DH works in the athletic department and football is a year round topic in this household!

@bree72: I asked my husband the same thing. It was Veterans Day. The coach's even wore camo FSU hats.

I can't wait. We are hoping to find a babysitter for Saturday so we can enjoy the tailgate and some of the game without chasing her around. Don't know if we will find someone though that will watch her from lunch time till bed time!

@Thehistoryofus: We are bummed we have a commitment here in Atlanta on Saturday, so we can't make it down for the game. The inlaws saved their extra tickets for us and everything. Enjoy it if you make it!!

@Smurfette: Oh thank god. That's actually nice. We had two friends who are recent FSU graduates over for the Gator game, and they thought it was because hunting season opened there this weekend. We were giving them a hard time because that would have been so redneck.

We had a bye week so neither!

We won! Unranked Pitt beat #13 Virginia Tech, 35-17. So wish I could have been in the Panther Pitt this weekend!
