My parents had a camper when we were younger and then gutted it and converted a bus to a camper when we were a bit older. That thing was awesome but only used it for a summer or two...not sure what happened to it!

No camper, but we had an old VW bus that we slept in on trips! We drove from PA to WA and back once (I was 3!) and mostly slept in the bus.

My parents had a pop-up camper when I was a kid, and my grandparents had a big fifth-wheel camper. I went camping with both of them quite a bit, and those memories are some of my favorites from my childhood.
My parents purchased a fifth-wheel camper last year, and they store it at the beach. It is super nice. We have stayed in it a couple of times.

We had a RV that you drove. We went all over - FL, CO, LA, lots of places in TX. I was just reminiscing this weekend to DH because we went to the beach and when I was a kid, we would always go stay in our RV.

My parents had a motorhome for my entire childhood. Lots and lots of great memories. I would love to get one when the girls are just a little older.
