Before Kinder: Philippines to the States
1st Grade: Florida to LA: I had bad memories, not so much because of the move, but because everything was new, plus my teacher was mean and hit kids with a ruler!
3rd Grade: LA to SD: I loved my school and I don't even remember feeling like the new kid.
8th Grade: within San Diego (technically 2 moves): it was the whole "new girl" experience since the move was in between the school year. But it wasn't so bad.

We moved when I was in first, fifth and sixth grades. The only one I remember negatively was 6th grade because by middle school it was harder to get integrated.
