Oh man, we are majorly in it now (15 months). Been going on since 5 months when he was in the hospital and my parents bought him a talking/singing Elmo doll. One of his first words was "Bo," which means Elmo in his world. It was a very Elmo Christmas this year!!!

DD is 19 months and has been in LOVE with Elmo for a couple months now. I don't even know where she learned about it since at the time, we'd hardly let her watch TV. Now if she sees my iPad she wants Elmo. If it helps me get dinner cooked without a tantrum, I'm all for it though!

Yup, it started recently. She doesn't watch SS or videos but she recognizes him!

We are in it right now. She is only 10 mos but that's what I put in when I need to get stuff done. She sees anything elmo and her face lights up.

We don't really watch TV and refuse to pay the ridiculous TV fee they have here so we only get like 4 channels. There's no Elmo unless I look for him on Youtube. But a Potty Time theme sounds pretty good to me ...

We buy the DVDs! We don't ever see any commercials. We also use Netflix which streams sese street.

@mrbee: I tried letting her watch Elmo this morning. She kind of liked it, but halfway through she started asking for Curious George.

Yes! I think LO's Elmo phase lasted about 9 months. He started getting into Daniel Tiger and forgot about Elmo. Now he loves Daniel Tiget, Thomas, and Busy Town.

Nope, no Elmo obssession, but I think that's because we didn't expose him to it. I can see why it is attractive to toddlers, though.

No, he's never even seen Sesame Street. I don't know what channel it comes on here!
