I feel like everyone did! My LO is literally covered head to toe in it right now.

No but he isn't in daycare or preschool. Our close friend and their baby who I used to babysit all have it right now though so it's clearly just been luck for us so far.

Yep. I spent pretty much all of Mother's Day weekend on the couch watching television with a sick baby cuddling on my chest.

Yes in July. He's not in daycare or preschool either so I thought we'd be safe!

yeah in the summer! No idea where he got it either (he didn't start daycare until school started)

@Mrs. Pen: I have no idea where my LO got it either! His daycare only has 4 babies, none of them with HFM, and he only goes a couple of days a week! I'm guessing church nursery

Yup. Literally the last week he was at his last daycare. Parting gift. Ugh.

The doctor's office said my son did, but I didn't notice one blister on his hands, feet or in his mouth. He did have a fever but I really don't think it was HFM.

No (knock on wood) I'm not sure how we have avoided it. Had two play dates this summer and got calls the next day that they found out the kids had hfm. Then a kid in his class at daycare had it!

Not yet! She's not in daycare or preschool, but we have a few friends who are not either and who have gotten HFM. With library and children's museum, I know we are just lucky so far.

Maybe? She had the classic triple-spot pattern, and a couple turned into what looked like scabbed over dry skin type blisters, but she wasn't uncomfortable or bothered so I didn't take her to the doc to confirm since they can't do anything for it. If she had it, it was super, super mild (thankfully!).

We went to the ped today, because even though I already knew it was HFM I was worried about all the blisters he has scratched at. Sure enough, he has secondary infections everywhere he has managed to scratch.

Yes...She isn't in a group care setting, so I think she must have gotten it from touching things at the park. She didn't have a very bad case though. She was fine after a day.

No, thank goodness.
I know a lot of people who got it at a birthday party, so i don't think it matters (unfortunately) if your kid goes to daycare or not.

Yup, about a month ago. My mom watches him everyday so I have NO clue where he got it. Maybe from his older cousin who was a carrier from preschool? Then I caught it from DS and was arguably more miserable than he was. A month later my hands and feet are STILL peeling!
