I've noticed my lo's poop is a little ....less runny....since giving her some solids. Does this mean there will be less blowouts now?

Hell no...and let me say solid blowouts are GROSS!!! This is when disposables really let me down. Let me say there is more "force" with solid poops.

DD has had such thick, icky diapers since starting solids....I don't see how any blow outs could happen!

no blowouts once theyre eating a lot of solids. their poop will become solid and super stinky!

Is it sad I'm looking forward to solids now? The blowouts were killer. I just started throwing away onesies after a blowout.

My LO never had blowouts (or rarely did) on breastmilk. But, he also pooped almost every feeding while on breastmilk. When we went to formula and solids he started pooping less often but HUGE poops. Like huge. They're the consistency of pudding and sometimes go up his back. Ew. But he's on purees, not much in the way of actual solids.

My LO's been eating purees for about a month now and we still get blowouts. The poop is thicker and not as runny, but can still make a mess. Though it's usually when he's been in his jumper and we don't realize he went right away...
