Licensed character bedding makes my eyes hurt (sorry!) but i know LO would be over the moon.
Did your LO want licensed character bedding? Did you get it for him/her? Did you go all out or just get one item?

She didn't ask for it but if she did I would let her have it. She likes other character things I let her have. Kids are only kids once!

I bought a single Thomas sheet set for his big boy bed. He was so excited and loves sleeping on Thomas. I rotate his sheets, and he doesn't mind when other sheets are being used. I can also cover it up with his comforter and not see the Thomas explosion underneath.

She had a gorgeous lilac and Aqua/pink patterned comforter to match her room, but someone gifted her Minnie mouse sheets and a Minnie comforter, and needless to say she only wants "Minnie bed!" Now

I'll let her if she wants it, unless it's just CRAZY expensive. My mom let me do my whole room in Pooh when I was little, and I still remember how much I loved it. And my room and bathroom at my dad's were Little Mermaid when I was very little, which I also loved, though I didn't actually pick that one.

I thought I would never but she has Sofia the First bedding which sometimes has Minnie Mouse sheets with it, too. Gaudy but she LOVES it.

@yin: I think I will do this! I don't want to buy he whole comforter/pillow set because it's so $$ and I don't want to have to shell out money every time her preferences change! I like the idea of the sheet sets though.

Haha, I would allow my son to do it if he asked for it, but so far, he has no idea about character bedding.

He already has two sets of comic book sheets...that we picked out! Oooops.

Maybe when he is older, but I would prefer to stick with a stuffed animal instead, mostly because I don't really see sheets as something to re-purchase when tastes change.

We did her big girl room and I didn't consult her. I bought what I wanted. She was 2 and her favorite character changes every 5 minutes. No way.
Her next set, i'll probably let her pick what she wants.

We have Cars & Transformers for our older boys.
I will when he can ask me "mom, I want X blankets". haha Until then, I am in control. muahaha.
