I don't remember her doing anything special for him.
We always made things for my dad though.
I think this will be the last year I give DH a gift. By next year DD will be in school and she'll probably make him something!
I've been preparing stuff for 3 fathers the last 3 years and it's too much! I'm running out of ideas too.

My mom would usually make my dad something he liked . . . like Snickerdoodles. She would also give him a card, and my brother and I would make him something.

Yep! My Mom always got him a card and a gift. We always made him cards and a got him a gift too.

Yes , she always did something. I'll keep doing things for dh too , I know I like him to celebrate me on mothers day

Yes. Holiday/occassions were always well celebrated in our house. I can't imagine not doing something special for DH on fathers day. I know he will be an awesome sauce dad and any excuse to remind him of that will be great!
His father passed and he goes golfing with his brothers every year to upkeep the tradition they had while he was alive. I am sure this will continue and he will enjoy having the full day of golf even more when we have a LO.
