I met with a nanny today who talked to me about how to get DD on a schedule. Our schedule is currently whatever Hot Mess Sleep/Eat schedule she wants on a given day. She mentioned that it's sometimes easier for nannies to help get them on schedules, bc it's easier for nannies to implement structure sometimes. I thought about it and it makes sense. Parents are just more emotionally attached and less likely to be rigid, I guess? Plus parents get pushed to limits that nannies don't get pushed to bc they're only with the child for a small portion of time. At 1am, when H hasn't gone down for the night yet and I'm exhausted, I consider doing things like co-sleeping- or anything that will result in sleep!

Did your nanny help your LO get on a schedule?
