It broke on its own out of the blue. It was a small gush and continued as small gushes every time I moved around. My labor didn't start after it broke so I had to be induced. I remember hating being soggy for 26 hours.

On it's own, but they had to fully break the water bag in the hospital to get the labor moving.

I had just finished peeing and then heard a pop and the water gushed out. Luckily it all went into the toilet!

Mine broke on it's own both times. With #1 it was a trickle, i was having contractions but they weren't super painful got to the hospital at 4cm. #2 I was in a LOT of pain and already at the hospital. It broke and GUSHED out. They checked me 1 minute later and i was 7cm.

Mine broke on its own both times while I was in labor at the hospital. With #1, it was like a balloon popped and it all gushed out. With #2, it would trickle out with each contraction. Shortly after my water broke, I felt the urge to push.

Mine broke on its own when I was pushing! The liquid shot out and went at least 6 feet beyond the foot of the bed. I screamed.

Mine broke on it's own well into labor (40+ hours). Nothing but a trickle came out. LO's head was too far down and blocked all the water from escaping. They had to push her back in/up to release the water. Weird feeling.

Mine broke at 4 a.m. while I was sleeping. I felt a pop and I woke right up knowing exactly what had just happened! I shuffled into our bathroom to the toilet and about the time I got there it just poured out!

I'll update to say that my second time it also broke on its own at home and gushed everywhere. Contractions started about 45 minutes prior with my second and 5-6 hours later with my first.

Mine broke on its own, at home. I had been having early labour for 24 hours and was trying to rest since I wasn't in active labour. I heard my belly pop and jumped up from the couch and it gushed all over the floor!
