It broke with my first before contractions started, but they broke it with my second about half an hour before he was born. I kept expecting water to break with my second to let me know I was in labor!

Just the first out of 3. My labor with D started with it.
With S, it was broken for me and I had a c section with M.

Yes! With DS it happened in the middle of the night, prior to contractions starting. With DD it happened when I was in the hospital, right around 9.5cm. Once it broke, DD was born within minutes!

Yep, both times it broke on it's own while I was in labor at the hospital. Although with LO1, it burst and with LO2, it more of ruptured and leaked out during each contraction.

One baby so far. My water broke about 2 hours before she was born, and about 10 hours into labor. Labor definitely picked up after my water broke!

The midwife broke mine with DS because I was so exhausted on day 3 of labor. We'll see with #2! I'm hoping it doesn't break because I'll have to go to the hospital sooner (I'm Group B Strep positive this time)
